Forest Kuromoji Chai has the mellow aroma of Kuromoji mixed with spices.
Regular chai is a blend of black tea and spices, but this Kuromoji Chai does not contain black tea; instead, it is a blend of only Kuromoji and certified organic spices.

The spiciness that is unique to autumn and winter Kuromoji goes well with milk or soy milk, and it has a more mellow aroma than black tea chai and a gentle, refreshing taste.

Noi no Mori's Kuromoji Chai does not contain any sweeteners such as sugar, so please add honey or sugar to your taste. It is also delicious if you substitute soy milk or oat milk for the milk.

Delivering pure fragrance without the use of chainsaws

The plants that noi handles are harvested and cut by hand, one by one, without the use of chainsaws.

Using a chainsaw not only damages plants, but there is a high possibility that oil from the machine will get on them, so we carefully observe the condition of each saw to deliver a pure scent.

Pruning and harvesting to enrich the forest

noi aims to create a relationship between forests and people in which both parties benefit, so they harvest in a way that enriches the forest without exploiting it.

When densely packed trees cover the sky, sunlight cannot reach the forest, undergrowth cannot grow, the ground is exposed, and rain cannot soak in and muddy water flows directly into rivers, making landslides more likely. Therefore, noi strives to keep the forest as healthy as possible by pruning and harvesting tree branches and leaves so that sunlight can reach the undergrowth as much as possible.
