All natural essential oils are extracted from hand-pruned Kuromoji trees from Mt. Fuji.

The essential oil from the wild Kuromoji tree found at the foot of Mt. Fuji, which can be said to be the symbol of noi, gives off a rich fragrance with a refined sweetness, citrus aroma and spiciness.

To make the most of this aroma, at noi, everything from harvesting to extraction is done by hand.

The Kuromoji trees, which grow wild in the forests at the foot of Mt. Fuji at an altitude of about 1000m, are harvested and cut one by one with scissors, without using chainsaws to prevent oil contamination. In addition, underground water from Mt. Fuji is used to extract the essential oil, and by steam distillation, a pure essential oil overflowing with vitality unique to this land is extracted.

Therefore, while searching for a material for noi packaging that has a low environmental impact and allows you to feel nature itself with your hands, we came across this traditional Japanese material, washi paper.
