Life Cycle and Giving

When I'm in the forests of Mt. Fuji, I realize that "everything is a cycle of life force."

The life activities of fungi and microorganisms create the soil that nurtures plants, plants absorb carbon dioxide by taking in solar energy, producing the oxygen living things need, and the life force of insects and birds carries plant seeds and pollen...

When I enter the forest, I can feel before my eyes that this cycle of life force is unfolding over an enormous span of years and countless repetitions, and that what we learned in school science as the "ecosystem" is, in fact, a "cycle of life force," not just a theory, but a tangible reality.

The forest taught me that when each life strives to live, it becomes energy for someone else, and it is through the smooth circulation of such relationships that abundance is born.

What I've realized recently is that "giving" is a circulation of energy unique to humans as animals.

This photo is a precious gift that our dear noi customers made together as a family. 8-year-old Sumire-chan and 4-year-old Hinano-chan painstakingly drew KUROMOJI trees, us, and Mt. Fuji, along with a handmade picnic sheet and noi embroidery.

When I received it, what welled up inside me, along with joy, was our life force and energy.

Their energy and thoughts, which they used to painstakingly create the gift, became our energy through the "gift" and will in turn circulate back into noi's activities. I felt firsthand that the cycle of life force I experienced in the forest also arises from the human act of "giving."

This time, learning from the forest and from them, noi has also created new gift products. I hope this provides an opportunity to send energy, along with your feelings, to your loved ones.
